Fernando A. Capablanca is the Managing Director and Managing Partner of the firm. Mr. Capablanca has had extensive bank management experience with community banks and with foreign banks.
He has been associated for the past 20 years with the Conference of State bank Supervisors (CSBS) in Washington and in 2007 received the McCormick Award for Excellence in International Bank Supervision. During his banking career he has held important positions in civic and professional organizations

Mr. Capablanca has been President/CEO and director of two community commercial banks in Florida as well as General Manager/CEO of major foreign bank organizations in Miami, including CEO of a major multi-national bank with shareholders from several countries.
In addition he has been CEO of a private commercial bank in Central America and director or advisor to the board of directors of banks in Panama, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Brasil, Ecuador and Colombia.
His experience in commercial banking, domestic and international, as well as merchant banking, has provided him with broad and diverse experience.
